The Members of The Morgans

THE MORGANS , long regarded as "Connecticut's Premier Irish, Folk, and Sea-Songs Ensemble" had a 50-year run, performing mostly in Connecticut, but throughout New England – and beyond. Numerous recordings came out of their collaborations, and their credits include having been booked to open for The Irish Rovers and The Clancy Brothers.  For more information:

Over the decades, the band's shifting personnel roster grew to over ten musicians, depending on the core group's availability; and on several occasions, two offshoots of THE MORGANS performed simultaneously at two completely different venues as Members Of THE MORGANS.  The bandmates laughingly referred to it as “Team A” and “Team B”. The photo below shows most (but not all) of the cadre of excellent musicians who have appeared as Members Of THE MORGANS.

COVID caused a major hiatus in the band's group performing, and in 2023, when Don Sineti,
THE MORGANS' co-founder and chanteyman, passed away, the band pretty much disbanded, getting together in smaller groups or presenting solo performances for the post-pandemic world.

However, in 2024, Members Of THE MORGANS re-emerged as a performing ensemble when Tom Callinan, Will Welling and Phil Rosenthal performed for the 3 rd Annual Ireland-Connecticut Business Council's “Pre-St. Patrick's Day” Business Networking Showcase & Awards Event in West Hartford, CT; and in 2025 Bill Walach joined Tom and Will for the ICBC's 4 th Annual event in Manchester, to rekindle their glory days of performing Irish ballads and rousing "come-all-yes", interspersed with spirited instrumental tunes that keep the hands clapping and the feet tapping. So, as the song goes: “The boys are back in town!”

The image below shows Will Welling, Tom Callinan, and Bill Walach, but any of the musicians depicted above (except for the late-Don Sineti, and several others who were not at that photo-shoot), can now be booked for occasional performing engagements (gigs) exclusively through CRACKERBARREL ENTERTAINMENTS. And if sponsors have a preference of players, we will do our utmost to honor those requests, depending on each respective player's availability.
